Tabletop attendance earns digital rewards

Wizards has announced permanent WPN achievements in MTG Arena, connecting sanctioned in-person events with digital rewards. Register with your Arena Wizards account; progress appears when you next open the game.

For players who divide their time between paper cards and a screen, this is worth checking before the next shop visit. An account mismatch is an avoidable complication, so confirm which login you use while you still have time to sort it out.

  • Favourite a store: 1,000 gold.
  • Attend three in-person Booster Draft events: one Draft token.
  • Attend an in-person event: the “Went Outside” title.

Follow stores through your profile

The Favorite Stores tab brings together shops saved through Companion or the Store & Event Locator. Store messages and event promotions are optional, with individual mute controls.

That gives a returning player a useful place to begin planning a visit. Confirm the event format, start time and entry fee with the organiser before travelling, and choose a session you actually want to play. A digital reward is a bonus rather than a reason to stretch your budget.

Check the requirement before chasing a reward

Attendance before launch is excluded. Some achievements also require a location designated as a Legendary Store, identified in the locator and Arena.

Collectors approaching organised play for the first time should read each achievement as an activity requirement. Owning cards and participating in an event are different things. Start with a suitable local session, ask what to bring, and give yourself room to learn the pace of playing across a table.
