A new product wave, rather than a new set
Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration’s UK product line expands today with two smaller ways to buy the anniversary set. Asmodee UK lists the Booster Bundle and Mini Tins for 2 October. The set itself and its Elite Trainer Box were announced earlier, so this is a product-date update for collectors choosing between formats, not a fresh expansion reveal.
The Booster Bundle contains six packs and has a listed recommended retail price of £24.99. Each mini tin contains two packs, a sticker sheet and a matching art card. The display includes ten designs, and Asmodee lists a £12.99 RRP per tin. Retail stock and prices can vary, so check the contents and total before ordering a full display.

What collectors are saying about the opening experience
Early reactions are not all pointing in the same direction. GamesRadar reported collectors sharing unusually rewarding openings, a positive anecdotal sample rather than a measured pull-rate study. A guaranteed special Pikachu slot in each pack is part of the set’s design, but it does not guarantee a particular rare card or make every box equivalent.
Other reports focus on the market after opening. ICv2 described sharp drops in some singles listings and frustration among resellers who expected prices to hold higher. Those reports concern observed listings and community posts, not a verified measure of every completed sale or collector’s experience. A falling asking price can help buyers looking for individual cards, while making sealed product less attractive to people who bought chiefly to resell.
Availability looks different by shop
The reaction to prices does not tell the whole story about access. In an ICv2 opinion column, one independent hobby-store operator said his own shop received severely constrained allocations even as other channels appeared better supplied. That is a useful account of a local retailer’s experience, not a national inventory survey, and it should not be treated as proof of a UK-wide shortage.
For players and collectors in Britain, the practical check is still the local listing: confirm whether a product is in stock, how many packs it contains, and whether the price is close to the published RRP. The available accounts describe both happy openings and uneven access. Neither establishes guaranteed pull rates, the full print run or what cards will be worth later.
